GICLÉE PRINTS – DIGITAL FINE ART

All of the images on the website are available as signed, limited edition, digital fine art prints. Called giclées, they are made with archival inks on 100% rag paper. I like the inherent generosity of multiples because they are available for more people to enjoy. I make digital fine art from my paintings and drawings. These giclée prints are not mere reproductions but are works of art in their own right. First I scan slides into the computer at 4000 dpi (dots per inch) and then alter them considerably, changing color, tone, saturation, sharpness, details, and cropping. I “redraw” and “repaint” the image using my mouse as pencil and paintbrush, taking away old elements and creating new ones. It takes months to a year complete a work.

Prints are available for purchase unframed at the prices listed plus a shipping and handling fee depending upon the size of the artwork. Because there are margins around the image for attractiveness and ease of handling, the size of the print is slightly smaller than the paper size listed below. All prints come in two sizes, small and large, except for Memories and Star Child, which come as very large size prints only.
