RESUME
Tobi Zausner has an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Art and Psychology and
is also an award-winning painter and a printmaker. She is represented
in private collections worldwide and has exhibited work in the Denver
Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Fleischer Memorial, the
Grey Art Gallery, the La Jolla Museum, the Nelson-Atkins Museum, and
the Hecksher Museum. Her work is in the permanent collection of the
American Museum of Natural History, the Museum of the City of New York,
the New York Public Library Print Collection, the Bancroft Library,
the University of California at Berkeley, the Long Island Museum, and
the Williams Center for the Arts. She is listed in Who's Who of American
Women, Who's Who In the East, and Who's Who In American Art and is currently
writing a two-volume study on the creative process. Tobi Zausner has
written and lectured widely on the psychology of art and has held teaching
positions at the New School University, the C. G. Jung Center, and the
Saybrook Graduate School. She is Chair of Art/ Art History in the Society
for Chaos Theory in Psychology and the Life Sciences and is on the Board
of A.C.T.S (Arts, Crafts, and Theatre Safety), a non-profit organization
investigating health hazards in the arts and is on the Editorial Board
of the Ferenczi Journal of Humanistic Studies.
